You've done it again

I've gotta say, all of your Madness temes have been some of my favorite songs, and this is going right up with the rest of em =]

I like how it was a fairly fast tempo background beat, yet all of the "main parts" of the song, the melody and the other little flourishes you threw in were all in a much slower tempo. It gave the song a kind of energizing, hopeless, and kinda chill feel.

I like the pickup at 4:45 as well, it just felt and sounded right. I'm a fan of the various samples you used in this song as well, it's a diverse little orchestra you have going there, between the synths, chimes, and whatever else is in there that I don't have a name for =P

My only gripe is that this song doesn't loop, and I feel like it could potentially make a pretty amazing sounding loop, but that's just me, and it isn't a big enough deal to rate you lower =P

Overall great job on this submission, I look forward to your future stuff =]

Why thank you! I'm glad that you like the music. I look forward to your future comments

Love it =]

I love your whole rose series, and this song is no exception. Granted, this one feels slightly less epic/important(as a boss battle theme), but it's still got that energizing sound, and it's a great overall theme. Bravo, and keep up the good work, I look forward to your next Rose entry =D

Great song =]

I liked it originally, and this remastering does improve on the original's quality fairly noticably (Especially on Bose Headphones =]). Bravo! =D

Nothin' much indeed

You didn't really do much with this. The drum beat you are laying down is pretty tight, but there really isn't much else to this song other than that beat. The melody, in the few moments it is playing, is too simplistic and uninterestng, and it makes for an overall bland song.

I feel like if you spent more time developing more of a melody to put to the beat, it could be a great song, but as it is now, it's too simplistic in my opinion.

Very simplistic sounding

The "Guitar" sound was to repetetive, simple, and dominant in my opinion. It detracted from the actual song quite a bit. I think a different, less biting sound, or at the very least, much less volume on it. It needs to fade into the background a little more; as it is now, it's too dominant, and like I said, it makes the whole song sound over-simple. Beautiful work, just try to fade that guitar into the background more, or change the tone/sound of it.

Thanks, ya, still trying to find the right settings for distortion on garageband.

Really good!

As others have said, this doesn't deserve the low score it has, you should be up at the top!

I'm a fan of this song for sure =]

Bravo!

Really interesting vibe. It's got this complex-ish feel from the wind-chimey thingy you've got going on, and throughout it feels really deep.

I love it =D

Interesting =D

It has this strange, poppy Megaman-ish feel to it at random times. Like you bunched 20 different Megaman themes together into one song. I liked it =]

GameBalance responds:

I like some of Megamn's themes :)

Loved it =]

I like this alot! The repetetive background sound is great, and I liked how you made it bloder and stand out more about halfway through. The little flourishes you threw in are great.

Kazmo responds:

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed this. :]

Too drum-heavy

I feel like the original "Birth of a God" Song was not nearly as drumming-intensive or focused, and that was what really made the song shine. It didn't need a driving or excessive beat to get you pumped for a boss battle, the beauty was in it's melody, not it's drumming. I think you're overusing fills and cymbals, and it's detracting from the actual song itself. Too much random crazy stuff with the drums, but other than that, you kept to the original melody pretty well. THe drum stuff just marred it beyond redemption in my opinion.

I play lot's of video games. Shit, that's not terribly descriptive, is it? I'm studying Computer Science, and my goal is to eventually be a college professor in that area. I like making music, and that's about all I submit here.
